Alpha 2 Fightworm
Hi! In this DevLog I will explain some mechanics of Fightworm in its Alpha 2 :D.
Combat: The combat in Fightworm will be based on blows with the head, tail and fist of the player, each of these parts of his body will have 3 types of blows; Each with its corresponding attack, damage and thrust hitbox. Each of these can be combined to be able to make different attacks, to attack we will press the keys: “Right Arrow” to use the fist “Down Arrow” to use the tail “Left Arrow” to use the head
Enemies: In this version we will have 5 enemies Too little for a year? The truth is that yes, but there are several ready-made enemies ready to take out in future versions. ;)
For each enemy you can find a small description inside the game if you go to the “Almanac” section where I will tell you a little about their past and what each enemy does. You can comment on any questions you have about them.
**Items: ** In this Alpha there are 2 items, which you can find when killing an enemy or destroying a box, each item will have a simple function but different from the other. You can save them in the boxes on the left with the “Q” key if you don’t need them, but you want to save them.
Bottle of life:
By taking it you will increase life, life in Fightworm is from 0 to 1, therefore, the bottle of life will add 0.065 of life, it will seem very little, but the bottles of life appear in a large quantity.
Magic Up:
This item has a great utility! Its function is to give you an extra life when you die, yes… it will resurrect you. If you have this item equipped, it will appear in your life bar and when you die, it will recover a 0.7 of life, making you unable to die with this item, you will find it in smaller quantities.
How much content does the Alpha 2 bring? This Alpha was meant to bring extensive content, but eh wanted to redesign much of the game, that’s why it doesn’t bring enough content, but… There are already several things that only lack the last details to be released, the next versions will come out in less time, this is because I will not have to “redo” the whole game completely, although any concerns with some mechanics, you can let me know so I can modify it and make FightWorm a pleasant game to play :D.
